I love bunting. LOVE. BUNTING. It’s such an adorable, simple way to make everything look so fun, sophisticated and whimsical.
I decided special treats need their own little fanfare- because let’s face it, indulging should be a sport, really- not just a casual encounter.
To start, you’ll need:
-Black or White cardstock (whichever constrasts most on your paper) OR black and white letter stickers if you don’t have a Cricut.
-Sure Cuts a Lot Software (please click on my link to the right if you’re looking to buy SCAL, I get a small commission for every referral which helps me keep this site going)!.
-Bakers Twine (check this post if you don’t have any- you CAN make your own!)
First, in sure cuts a lot, you’ll need to make your letters and pennants. If you don’t have a cricut, cut your cardstock into long diamond shapes. You will be folding them in half to make the triangle pennants.
Shorter sticks look best with less letters and on cupcakes. Longer sticks look better with more letters and on cakes, etc. I had huge sticks- these banners would have looked perfect on candy sticks, or if I had stuck with “yummy”. Oh well, there’s always next time…
