A while ago, Kirstin from KoJo Designs posted this adorable torn fabric garland. I have been mentally bookmarking it for baby B’s nursery and her upcoming See ‘n Sip party (like a baby shower, when she’s here- since we don’t need baby supplies for #2, we figured a fun party was more in order than a shower).
I love fun, whimsical party decor- and banners are one of my biggest obsessions.
A lot of banners can be a pain in the butt to make- but this one takes minutes. Seconds even- if you can tie knots really, really fast!
-An inexpensive Jellyroll (browse the Walmart fabric clearance sections- I scored this for $7- or use your 50% off coupon at your local craft store!)
-Ribbon, cord, or a long strip of fabric
I didn’t really take pictures of the steps, since basically all you need to do is unroll the pack, remove the strips, and tie them on to the ribbon with a simple knot.
Vary up your patterns and be sure fabric stays right side out after you’ve tied it on.
Tie on as many strips as you’d like, and you’re done!
Hang behind your refreshment table, card table, or a nursery wall.
This also makes a fun playhouse/clubhouse curtain!
Hope you enjoy!
