I am not the most organized person in the world. In fact, I am a bit of a hoarder, and a touch of a slob. Especially in my craft area. I have tons of supplies that sit in dark bins, long forgotten, and often tangled.
With my mom in town before Baby B is born, we decided to tackle some of my craftroom storage needs. Not only did we do an overhaul of how things are put away (for safety of little man, as well as so I can easily find things), but we wanted to find some cute ways to display the supplies.
With some inexpensive wooden clothespins from a craft store, we quickly came up with a great way to display and untangle my giant pile of embroidery thread. Come see how I did it!
bundles of thread
Start by threading a small bit of thread into the clothes pin, and quickly (but tightly), spin around the clothes pin. You can roll it all the way down the pin, halfway down, however you’d like!
When you have only a tiny bit of thread left, tuck a small bit back into the clothes pin to keep it from unraveling.
Toss into a cute bin, big mason jar, or even a painted box lid to display!
I’ll be posting more of our organizational ideas- so stay tuned!
