Bob’s Red Mill donated the gift bag and food for me to try in my home. All opinions are 100% my own.
When we decided to go gluten free as a household to stand in solidarity with my son, who has problems processing wheat and gluten, I was a bit lost at what I’d serve. Here I had a picky two year old who LOVED the carbs that were hurting him, and a family who wasn’t enthusiastic about eating a bunch of weird food.
So I was glad to find a few great companies providing delicious, actually nutritious gluten-free foods. Bob’s Red Mill SAVED us in our transition to gluten free, and continues to be a staple in our diet today.
A lot of gluten free foods are made with bleached white rice flour and have little nutritional value. I LOVE that Bob’s products are certified organic and are made from whole grains using time honored slow grinding techniques to give you the highest quality product possible. You can read more about the Bob’s Red Mill difference here.
They have cake mixes, flours, bread mixes, and nutritious “add-ins” like flax meal and chia seeds (that I sneak in to every baked good to up our family’s fiber and Omega 3 intake) that we can’t get enough of.
While not all of the Bob’s Red Mill food are gluten free, they take their gluten free foods very seriously and clearly label all allergy information on product packaging. They also even process gluten free foods separately from other foods to eliminate the risk of cross contamination and have been considered leaders int he gluten free food industry for the last 30 years.
So who is ready to win and get cooking with some delicious gourmet foods? Please click the photo below to head on over to the Bob’s Red Mill site and let me know what food you’d most like to win.
