I’ve already proclaimed myself the master of last minute holiday crafting- but I inherited the title from my mom.
Mom recently opened up my craft closet and went to town getting some wonderful crafts togehter for the 4th of July- and I am so excigted to share them with you!
This craft is a perfect way to talk to little ones about WHY the 4th is important- and remember what America stands for. Best of all, it takes less than 10 minutes!
To make this fun display, you’ll need:
-chalkboards (find them at Jo-Ann’s for $3.49 here)
-long strip of fabric
-two felt stars (found in the $1 section at Jo-Anns)
-decorative brads (check out basic grey here for a great selection)
Lay out your chalkboards and the fabric strip to determine placement.
Staple fabric to the back of chalkboards.
Punch a hole in the middle of the felt star and at the top with a thick, sharp embroidery needle- and just one hole in the middle for the second star.
Thread a brad through the hole in the middle of the felt star and through the fabric strip to hold the star in place. Repeat this step with the second felt star.
Thread twine through the top of the felt star for hanging.
Hang and enjoy- happy 4th of July!!
