I love Mod Podge. Do you? It is inexpensive, easy to use, and you can use it on just about anything! You don’t need to have any expensive equipment or special skills to make some wonderful creations using Mod Podge.
Sometimes I think the only person who loves Mod Podge more than me is Amy Anderson, author of the wildly popular and amazing blog, Mod Podge Rocks!
Well guess what, friends?
Amy had a new book FULL of great ‘podgy goodness- over 40 projects sure to inspire you!
You read that right- a brand new book dedicated to one of our favorite craft supplies!
Just what will you find in the book?
It is stocked full with big, beautiful pictures and easy to follow tutorials. Plus the colors are totally vibrant and fun, and Mod Podge beginners will get plenty of easy to understand information about Mod Podge, its formulas and applications!
I love these “Miss Matchy” kitchen jars,
This fabric covered suitcase is so fun and whimsical…
and I am going to make my own version of this message board soon!
You’ll even find projects by some of your other favorite bloggers there, too! (Heather from Dollar Store Crafts and Jen from Tatertots and Jello are just two of the talented women making cameos in the book.)
What I love best about this book is all of the ideas Amy showcases. While you can make the projects she outlines, she shows how versatile Mod Podge really is, and I got a TON of my own ideas seeing all of her tutorials.
I haven’t actually invested in a lot of decoupaging tools since I didn’t really know what to use for what, and what to use them with- but Amy’s book has helped me figure out what I would like to have on hand for lots of different projects. I don’t know about you, but staring at craft store items can get intimidating sometimes, and Amy’s book really lays out all of the tools you’ll ever think of using with Mod Podge in a clear, concise manner- and shows how to use them with great pictures during the process!
To celebrate this awesome new book, I am giving one Sweet C’s reader a fun prize pack full of ‘podge, courtesy of Plaid Crafts!
Just what will you win?
That’s enough for your own 40+ projects! I am totally loving the brand new podgeable shapes and papers. Seriously- you have no idea how hard this is to not keep all this awesome stuff for myself! I need to go get a roller asap. And some dimensional magic.
