I’m a busy mom. I don’t have a ton of time to invest into my looks, or a bottomless budget to buy baubles for every outfit I am wearing. I recently was given a chance to check out something that could change all of that.
Styled by Tori Spelling is a fabulous new line of easy, fun, glamorous and funky new jewelry that is…. wait for it…. totally DIY!
That’s right, YOU make the jewelry, with three easy steps to style.
Simply pick a necklace top, bottom, earrings or a bracelet. Pick connectors and any embellishments. Put it all together in under a minute, and you are done!
Here are just a few of the gorgeous pieces I had to choose from:
I grabbed a necklace top, bottom, two connectors and a blingy pendant from the Noir line, and in one minute, had a lovely necklace.
All I had to do was slide the parts onto the connectors! Really… it is that easy. Even a stressed out mommy of a toddler and a two month old can handle that!
Say I wanted to change it up? Just slide that piece off, and another on. It is totally customizable (though this necklace hasn’t changed since I received it- I love it too much!)
I’ve worn this out a few times, and had TONS of compliments. I absolutely love how it looks- it looks great with casual outfits or dressed up. The flower pendant and touches of pearl are SO me.

There are so many gorgeous options in the brushed bronze and gold based Boho Line- tons of turquoise, and even some coral! I took a necklace back and a string from one of the bracelet groupings, along with an earring dangler I got to make this lovely bronze and turquoise necklace, and paired it with this brushed bronze and pearl bracelet.
I’ve also really been wanting to try some colorblock lately. While I adore the super cute color jeans, I have a post baby body I DONT want to put in them, so I used a chunky necklace bottom from the Noir line to make a funky handle for a quick painted wristlet.
So many of the line’s necklace bottoms could be used as wonderful multi-taskers – either as purse handles, headbands, belts, pendants around a vase… the sky is the limit.
I also invited a dear friend over to see what we could come up with. We took pendants and made them earrings. We combined two earrings together to make a really long earring. We made chunky necklaces, and turned a pendant into a hair clip.
We had SO much fun! That’s the great part about this jewelry- you can customize it however you like to make as many looks as you want. It is sold at Joanns and Michaels, and all of the pieces have very reasonable price points- so you can create your own little stash to mix and match.
As you can see, the options are endless and completely versatile. They can go from day to night, from fun and funky to simple and stunning. With a few minutes, you can mix and match all the pieces to find YOUR style.
Those are just a few of the awesome styles I came up with (there were so many, I had a hard time cutting them down! Look for some more jewelry posts in the future.) My husband would kill me for saying this, but I am so hooked, I am going to have to save up so I can go buy some pieces from the Glitz and Glam lines!
